Acceptance of Terms

These Terms apply to the SaveMeTokens desktop application, the savemetokens.com website, and any related services. References to "you" or "user" mean the individual using the software or website. References to "we", "us", or "SaveMeTokens" mean the developers and operators of SaveMeTokens.

✦ What you're getting

License Grant

Subject to your payment of the applicable subscription fee and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SaveMeTokens on a single machine for your personal or professional use.

Your license is tied to one machine. If you need to move it to a different machine, contact support and we will assist you. You may not install or run your license on more than one machine simultaneously.

• Monthly plan — license is valid for the current billing month and renews automatically until cancelled
• Annual plan — license is valid for 12 months from purchase and renews automatically until cancelled

✦ What you may not do

Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Share, sublicense, resell, or redistribute your license key or the application
• Use the software to develop a competing product or service
• Attempt to circumvent the license validation system
• Use the software in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices within the software

Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of your license without refund.

✦ Billing

Payment & Billing

Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period.

• All prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
• You will receive a receipt by email for every charge
• Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of your license until the payment is resolved
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days* notice to existing subscribers

✦ Our guarantee

Refund Policy

After the 7-day window:

• Monthly plans — no refunds for the current billing period, but you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges
• Annual plans — no refunds after the 7-day window. You may cancel to stop auto-renewal at the end of the annual period

Exceptions may be made at our discretion for extenuating circumstances. If the software is materially defective or fails to function due to a bug on our end and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, we will issue a refund regardless of the time elapsed.

✦ Ending your subscription

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing immediately.

• Monthly plans — after cancellation, your license remains active until the end of the current billing period, then expires
• Annual plans — after cancellation, your license remains active until the end of the annual period, then expires

We do not pro-rate cancellations for unused time within a billing period, except within the 7-day refund window.

✦ Uptime & support

Availability & Updates

SaveMeTokens is a local desktop application and functions independently of our servers during normal use. Its core functionality — prompt compression — does not require an internet connection after the initial license activation.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted availability of the website or license server
• Compatibility with all future operating system versions
• Continued support for any specific Linux distribution beyond our current offering

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with current Ubuntu/Debian releases and to provide updates for bugs and security issues. Feature updates are provided at our discretion and are included with active subscriptions at no additional charge.

✦ As-is basis

Disclaimer of Warranties

SaveMeTokens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any output
• Warranties that specific token savings will be achieved

Compression results will vary depending on the nature and verbosity of your prompts. The 50–70% savings figure is an estimate based on typical usage and is not a guarantee of any specific outcome for any specific prompt.

✦ Limits of liability

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SaveMeTokens and its developers shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from reliance on any output of the software
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data (noting our local-only architecture)

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of SaveMeTokens shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

✦ Ownership

Intellectual Property

SaveMeTokens, its name, logo, compression algorithms, and all related software and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of the SaveMeTokens developers. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Your prompts and text remain entirely your own. We make no claim to any content you process through the software. As described in our Privacy Policy, we have no access to that content anyway.

✦ Jurisdiction

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

✦ Updates to terms

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of SaveMeTokens after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
